Welcome to the East Ottawa Generals web site. Our organization emphasizes teaching tackle football skills and promoting good sportsmanship, team spirit and fair play to boys and girls, ages 6 - 16 in our community. Please take a look around and we hope to see you out on the field!
PAT WOODCOCK - PAT TRAINING We would like to thank Pat Woodcock (former NFL Player and CFL All-Star and Grey Cup Champion) for coming out to practice late in the season. Thanks again Pat !!!!! 2009 TYKES WIN CHORNEY CUP It was the first time in Generals history that a team had ever advanced to the Chorney Cup Finals and our Tykes not only did this but won 34-28 over Myers Riders - with only 21 players. This was an incredible season for the Tykes - and - we congratulate each and everyone involved with the team - the future looks very bright for the club with such a solid group being formed. Congratulations Everyone !!!!! 2009 EASTERN ONTARIO ALL-STARS WIN GOLD July 10, 2009 from Saskatoon - Jamahll Charles and the rest of the Eastern Ontario All-Stars beat Southern Alberta 42 - 7 in the gold medal game. Jamahll was also selected as a tournament All-Star. Congratulations to Jamahll and the rest of the team on a job well done. the cfl is returning to ottawa The East Ottawa Generals are in full support of the new, stronger Ownership Group that has been granted a Conditional CFL Franchise in Ottawa. 2010 BANTAMS We are going to practice on Sunday March 21st at the Multipsort Gym in Gatineau (211 rue Montcalm) with the Vikings players - 7 pm to 9 pm. No equipment – just running shoes – shorts – T-shirt. Contact Mark Quinn right away if you can attend.
we have our own bingo slot !!!!! Our Slot is every Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm (should be there and ready to sell cards by 12 pm) at Rideau Carleton Raceway. The next group will arrive at 3 pm. The Club cannot operate without this Bingo being a success so ... PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE WE NEED VOLUNTEERS IMMEDIATELY !!!!! Click for our BINGO SCHEDULE. It is going to happen this year and it will be free to all participants. Right now we are working on sponsors and uniforms. Everyone will be expected to make a committment for the year - practice once or twice a week and learn routines that they will perform at half-time and in between our football games during the season.
